This is a small mom & Pop restaurant. Yummy food, plus the chips and Salsa. The waitress is the best.

Went in today just to try out this place for the first time and had a tamale plate with rice and beans.Service was about standard and the woman working the register was very polite. The ambiance was a traditional Baja style cantina . The food was absolutely delicious, lots of flavor and good traditional Mexican plates. I'll definitely be back to try more items. I strongly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

Letty always makes us feel like family in this great independently owned restaurant. The tamales, enchiladas, rice and beans are fantastic. The moles are super rich and flavorful.

I have not visited this restaurant in person however we had food ordered for our office. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. The chips were thin like I prefer with a good amount of salt and I was pleasantly surprised on the spice level and the amount of flavor the salsa had. We ordered the Carne Sada burrito, which came with the green salsa on top to avoid it getting overly soggy. My first impression was how flavorful and tender that Cara was. Second I am always critical of beans and can tell if they are not homemade. The beans were very tasty and definitely homemade. This was a good for impression. Definitely recommend them for your Office lunch. I will have to make a visit to the restaurant and try other things.

My *favorite* place to get albondigas and they know it. Made fresh daily and served everyday.... There's a reason! Truly tastes and makes you feel like abuela's cooking; complete with handmade meatballs with rice, celery, potato, corn, carrots, tomatoes, onions... all stewed to perfection. Just look at this to-go order (perfect for the rainy weather, I just had to take it home) with a side of rice & your choice of flour or corn tortillas! I packed a little self-serve salsa to go as well. I may have ordered to go but there were a few families eating dinner, keeping the place lively and smelling delicious. If they can make a to-go order look this great (secure packaging!) just imagine how their food looks on a plate! I'll miss coming here so often for my favorite soup and friendly greeting from the manager

Been sick and needed a good soup. They have menudo, pozole, albondigas, and cadence res! This place hits the spot every time. Authentic Mexican food. Variety of beers, soft drinks, coffee, aguas frescas, and juices. Came at a slow time which is good. This place is usually full. Also had champurrado today! My lucky day.
